Sweaty Betty has opened its first store in the West Midlands at Touchwood in Solihull. The women's activewear brand, known for its range of gym and yoga apparel, has taken a 2,283 sq ft unit, fronting onto Solihull High Street, on a five-year lease. Sweaty Betty joins a number of major brands at Touchwood, including Apple – which recently tripled its presence at the scheme – John Lewis, Zara, Mango, Rituals, Miele, Oliver Bonas, and the newly-opened Space NK.

Touchwood Solihull in the West Midlands has expanded its dining offer with the arrival of Brazilian steakhouse Beleza Rodizio. The restaurant has taken a 7,318 sq ft unit, located within the scheme's Jubilee Walk dining area, on a new 15-year lease. The Touchwood restaurant becomes Beleze Rodizio's third location in the UK, joining eateries in Stratford-upon-Avon and Hull. Touchwood is currently undergoing a refresh of its dining and leisure offer, with Beleza Rodizio’s arrival coming shortly after the opening of the West Midlands’ only Wendy’s.

Marks & Spencer has opened its latest renewal store concept at Merry Hill in the West Midlands. The opening marks a significant reinvestment from M&S after 35 years at Merry Hill, with the store bringing together two existing units to create one 100,000 sq ft flagship space. The new location features a coffee shop, a market-style food hall, and an expanded fashion, home, and beauty offer.
