Aston Villa Football Club has opened its flagship city centre store, in partnership with Adidas, at Hammerson's Bullring in Birmingham. Located on Bullring's Lower Level East, the 10,000 sq ft store features the Premier League club's exclusive range of merchandise, including kits, training wear, and limited-edition collaborations. The store also offers personalisation services for fans. Designed to celebrate Aston Villa’s footballing heritage, the store incorporates elements from the club’s 150th anniversary and Villa Park Stadium, and also features a dedicated museum area.

Aberdeen Investments, acting on behalf of the Standard Life Pooled Pension Property Fund, has acquired a retail park in the West Midlands for £69.6m. The fund has purchased Sears Retail Park in Solihull, which extends to 136,300 sq ft and is anchored by Next and Marks & Spencer. Other retailers at the scheme include TkMaxx, Homesense, Boots, and Mountain Warehouse. The acquisition is the fund's second such investment in the past 12 months, after it acquired the Tandem Centre in Colliers Wood in 2024.

UNIQLO is set to open its first store in the Midlands at Hammerson's Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham. The 20,000 sq ft store will span three floors with a trading area of 11,840 sq ft, offering the brand's full range of clothing for men, women, and children. The Birmingham store marks a key strategic signing for UNIQLO – which is aligned with the city's younger, affluent demographic – as it continues its regional expansion across the UK.
