Battersea Power Station in London is set to welcome a number of new retailers and operators this year, bringing the total number of new entrants at the development in 2026 to 20. Pub and dining concept The Hero’s Return, Japanese restaurant Konjiki, Asian dining hotspot Noodle Inn, Virgin Atlantic Holidays, Mango Man, and fitness and lifestyle club, One City, are among some of the brands that will be joining the neighbourhood.

Ardent Pub Group has signed for a new venue, 'The Magpie', at Shaftesbury Capital's Covent Garden estate in London. The independent pub group – which operates The Cadogan Arms in Chelsea, The George in Fitzrovia, and The Hound in Chiswick – will take a 5,000 sq ft space at 142 Shaftesbury Avenue. The venue will span across three floors and serve 140 covers, joining a number of food and beverage operators at Covent Garden.

Shaftesbury Capital has signed South American-inspired chicken and steak eatery Solis for its first standalone UK location at 26 Kingly Street in Soho, following the debut of smashburger specialist Dumbo at nearby 37 Berwick Street. Solis's 1,500 sq ft space will offer an array of small plates, a take on the South American bocadillo sandwich, and signature grill dishes, with single serving chicken and steak alongside sharing plates.
