Urban Outfitters is set to join the fashion lineup at Lakeside Shopping Centre in West Thurrock, Essex this summer. Located on the scheme's lower level, the 6,500 sq ft store will offer the fashion retailer's range of menswear, womenswear, accessories and homeware from its proprietary brands. It will also showcase products from labels such as Levi’s, Dickies, and Carhartt WIP. In addition, the store will look to serve as a cultural hub, with a space designed for social connection, curated music and a lifestyle offering.

Japanese restaurant concept Maki & Ramen has opened its first restaurant in London at The O2. The operator has opened a 1,991 sq ft unit within the scheme's Entertainment District, joining the likes of Gaucho, HaiDiLao, Las Iguanas, Five Guys, and KFC. The restaurant has 70 covers and offers a menu of Asian food that includes the brand's signature Tonkotsu Ramen and sushi. Originally launching in 2015, Maki & Ramen has expanded rapidly in recent years.

Stradivarius is set to open its first store in Kent at Landsec's Bluewater shopping centre later this month. The women's fashion brand – which is part of the Inditex group – will take a 8,488 sq ft unit on the Lower Thames Walk, adjacent to M&S. Stradivarius joined Inditex – the owner of fashion retailers Zara, PULL&BEAR, and Bershka – 1999 and is offers womenswear, footwear, and accessories.
