Outlet Shopping at The O2 has welcomed the opening of three brands, all of which are making their outlet debuts in London. The arrivals of Kate Spade New York, Jack & Jones, and New Era follow a strong start to the year for the outlet shopping destination, with sales up by 8% year-on-year during the first quarter. Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex, part of SGS Group, is set to increase its fashion offering with the arrival of Reiss later this year. Opening in May, the 'affordable luxury' brand's new store will span 2,111 sq ft and offer Reiss's full range of menswear, womenswear, and accessories. Reiss joins an existing line-up of high-end fashion retailers at West Thurrock's Lakeside Shopping Centre, including All Saints, Calvin Klein, Levi's, and BOSS.

Landsec has exchanged contracts on the sale of Lakeside Retail Park in Thurrock, Essex for £114m, reflecting a net initial yield of 6.0%. The purchaser is GTAM Apex Lakeside Bidco, in which Farran Investments is a minority co-investor and asset manager to. The sale is expected to complete by the end of April. Lakeside Retail Park spans approximately 385,000 sq ft and is currently 97% let, producing a net rental income of £6.
