Railpen, manager of the £34bn railways pension scheme in the UK, has signed two retail and leisure brands at Multistory, it's 295,000 sq ft office building in Birmingham. These signings follow the completion of phase one of the building, which saw the creation of 27,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space on the ground floor, with one unit remaining to let. Launching its first location in Birmingham is the Liverpool-founded 92 Degrees Coffee.

Lululemon is set to open its first store in the Midlands at Hammerson's Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham. Spanning 5,700 sq ft, the new store will offer the activewear brand's latest range of products for activities including yoga, running, training, tennis, and golf. As part of the brand's expansion in Birmingham, Lululemon will look to create a community through grassroots projects including run clubs and group exercise sessions.

Merry Hill has announced record performance in 2025, with the West Midlands scheme seeing year-on-year increases in sales and footfall of 4.3% and 5%, respectively. These results came as Merry Hill completed more than 40 leasing transactions over the course of the year, covering 300,000 sq ft.
