Commercial agents appointed at Worcestershire retail and leisure destination

The Valley in Evesham, Worcestershire has appointed the Bristol office of Carter Jonas as commercial agents, working alongside the landlord Eagle One. Situated within a 115-acre park, the 30-unit retail and leisure scheme is anchored by the 40,000 sq ft Blue Diamond Garden Centre. Tenants at The Valley include Fat Face, ProCook, Quba, Weird Fish, Crew, Barbour, Cotton Traders, Coffee#1, Regatta, and Saltrock.

B&M leads new lettings at redeveloped Worcestershire retail park

Goold Estates has secured a number of new lettings at Tannery Retail Park in Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, following a £1m redevelopment of a former Co-op site. These new signings are led by B&M, which will open a 18,889 sq ft store in August within the retail park's largest unit. The discount retailer joins St Richard's Hospice Foundation, with the charity shop set to open a 5,092 sq ft larger format store in July.

Historic art deco cinema in Worcester handed £1.5m price tag

A Grade-II art deco cinema building in Worcester has been placed on the market with a price tag of £1.5m. Spanning 7,218 sq ft, the former Northwick Cinema on Ombersley Road was designed by Charles E Wilford and constructed in 1938. The cinema's original interior followed art deco interior designer John Alexander's plans and the building remains the only surviving and complete example of his work.
