Pret a Manger has opened its first café in Gloucester at Peel Retail & Leisure's Gloucester Quays outlet shopping destination. The bakery chain has opened a 1,841 sq ft eatery with space for 85 people, offering a variety of sandwiches, wraps, salads, baked goods, and snacks. This comes following the recent opening of Subway at Gloucester Quays, which took a 603 sq ft unit next to The Real Greek and Bill's, providing customisable sandwiches and salads.

Developer Robert Hitchins has announced the appointment of Adrian Field as centre manager at Cotswolds Designer Outlet, the currently under-development retail and F&B destination in Tewkesbury. This comes as the outlet shopping destination's construction programme reaches the one-year milestone, with the development set to open in spring 2025. Field brings expertise of managing town and city centre destinations, shopping centres, and Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), having worked in locations such as Cardiff, Worcester, Malvern, Warwick, and Redditch.

Reiss has opened its first-ever outlet store in the south west of England at Gloucester Quays. The affordable-luxury fashion retailer has taken a 1,800 sq ft unit, located opposite The North Face and adjacent to Skechers. The store offers the brand's collections of men's, women's, and children's clothing, including formalwear, knitwear, and suits and tailoring. Reiss joins a number of other fashion brands at Gloucester Quays, including M&S, Hobbs, Phase Eight, and Next.
