Peterborough Capital and its joint venture partner George Capital have announced a trio of lettings at Christopher Place, as the St Albans scheme's repositioning continues to take place. The shopping centre is set to welcome Astrid & Miyu ahead of Christmas, with fit-out works already underway. Founded in London in 2012, the jewellery brand is known for its stackable designs and experiential stores offering piercing, welding, and fine-line tattoos.

The Entertainer to open largest store in over a decade at Hatfield's Galleria

The Entertainer is set to open its largest store in over a decade later this month at The Galleria outlet centre in Hatfield. The 8,000 sq ft space will be the toys and games retailer's first to trade under its new sub-brand "The Entertainer, Toys for Less". It will stock products from brands including Pokémon, One Piece, Toy Story 5, Paw Patrol and Barbie, with the majority selling for 30% less than in the retailer's other stores.

Leasing agents appointed at recently acquired St Albans retail block

The new owners of Christopher Place in St Albans have appointed Cushman & Wakefield as leasing agents for the scheme. The 88,000 sq ft city-centre destination features 34 retail units and a car park, with plans currently underway to transform it into a hub for affordable luxury shopping with a dining experience. Cushman & Wakefield said it is ready to drive forward a series of targeted initiatives to enhance the estate, and establish Christopher Place as a prime destination for shoppers and diners.
