The Mall Luton is set to undergo a change of name after new owners Frasers Group announced that it plans to rename the scheme to Luton Point, as it looks to highlight the centre's position in the heart of the town. The scheme's asset manager, Sovereign Centros, has submitted a planning application to Luton Borough Council to update The Mall's external signage to the new name. The 900,000 sq ft scheme - which was opened in 1972 - is anchored by tenants including Primark, Tk Maxx, H&M, River Island, and Boots.
