The 36,900 sq ft property overlooks St Paul’s Square and is near a variety of occupiers including Lloyds bank, Tesco Express, Vue Cinema, as well as a selection of bars, restaurants and cafés. Greggs has opened its first concession in a Sainsbury's petrol station forecourt in Biggleswade, with the two retailers expected to make more collaborations later in the year. The new store will open from 6am to 9pm daily, and will allow refuelling customers to choose from Sainsbury's convenience range as well as Greggs' menu of baked goods. Tony Rowson, Greggs property director, said the bakery chain is diversifying its retail estate as part of its "ambitious" property strategy.
