Frasers Group is looking to continue its shopping centre spree as the group eyes a purchase of Fremlin Walk in Maidstone, Kent. The Mike Ashley-owned group is in discussions with scheme owner M&G Real Estate as it looks to add the 350,000 sq ft asset to its portfolio, The Times has reported. Fremlin Walk opened in 2005 and is home to retailers such as Boots, H&M, JD Sports, and Pandora.

White Stuff has opened an outlet store at McArthur Glen Designer Shopping Outlet in Ashford, Kent. Located nearby to M&S and Barbour, the 1,300 sq ft space offers a range of the fashion retailer's womenswear and menswear, including made-for-outlet exclusives. This comes as the retailer continues to expand in more shopping centres, retail parks, and city centres, with the brand recently opening a flagship store at Liverpool ONE.

Frasers Group is set to create a new flagship store in Maidstone after signing a long-term lease renewal at M&G Real Estate's Fremlin Walk. Under the new agreement, the group will fully refurbish its existing 101,921 sq ft House of Fraser unit to bring a number of its brands under one roof, including the likes of Flannels and Sports Direct. The current House of Fraser store will close from 30 March and reopen in the autumn.
