Superdrug has opened a newly-upsized store at Bluewater, doubling its presence at the Kent scheme. The 8,288 sq ft store forms part of the cosmetics retailer's continued plan to expand its bricks-and-mortar retail footprint, with 25 new stores set to open this year. The store – which was opened by Love Island star Sophie Piper – offers a range of health and beauty products, toiletries, and fragrances.

Primark is set to open its first store in Royal Tunbridge Wells after acquiring the former BHS building in the town centre. The clothing retailer will trade from two floors in the unit which extends into the Royal Victoria Place shopping centre. The scheme was acquired last year by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council – which has been working with asset and development manager RivingtonHark to bring new brands to the scheme.

Beauty retailer Sephora is set to continue its expansion with the opening of a new store at Bluewater in Kent. The 4,593 sq ft store will be Sephora's seventh in the UK, and will offer a range of cosmetics, including some brands which are exclusive to the retailer. Sephora first opened in the UK in 2022, and is set to open stores soon in Newcastle's Eldon Square, Gateshead's Metrocentre, and Birmingham's Bullring.
