The King's Cross Group has recorded a "major uplift" in retail sales in 2025 across its London estate, led by its Coal Drops Yard development. Across the group, sales were up by 13.5% year-on-year in 2025, with retail sales increasing by 16% and food and beverage sales up by 10%. Coal Drops Yard saw the steepest rise, recording a 20% increase in sales. Recent brand openings at the destination include UNIQLO, Joe & The Juice, and Midnight Pantry.

Luxury health club operator Third Space is set to open a new 50,000 sq ft club at Landsec's O2 Centre on Finchley Road, North West London. Opening in 2027, the new club will feature gym facilities, a swimming pool, and dedicated areas for health, recovery, and relaxation. Costa Coffee is set to open at The Liberty Romford, adding to the East London shopping centre's food and beverage offering. The coffee shop operator will open at the scheme in early 2026, having signed for a 4,096 sq ft space with 90 covers. The signing of Costa Coffee follows a number of high-profile signings at The Liberty Romford in recent months, including Kids Play Village, Gootopia, Pret a Manger, and Moana Poke Bowl.
