Redical has announced that Danish variety retailer Flying Tiger is set to join The Liberty Romford. The retailer will be taking a 4,500 sq ft space, as The Liberty Romford’s looks to deliver a mix of retail, leisure, and F&B that resonates with its catchment, drives footfall, and enhances dwell time. The signing follows a number of new lettings at The Liberty Romford over the last 12 months, including Lovisa, MINISO, 80's Casual Classics, and Rituals.

Søstrene Grene has opened its first UK store of 2026 at Angel Central, with the Danish homewares brand making its North London debut at the Islington scheme. The retailer has opened within a 5,588 sq ft unit on the first floor of the centre, situated opposite Wagamama and alongside complementary retailers including H&M, UNIQLO, Mango, and Oliver Bonas. The store offers a range of Scandinavian-inspired homeware and lifestyle products, including kitchenware, home accessories, crafts, and decorations.

The King's Cross Group has recorded a "major uplift" in retail sales in 2025 across its London estate, led by its Coal Drops Yard development. Across the group, sales were up by 13.5% year-on-year in 2025, with retail sales increasing by 16% and food and beverage sales up by 10%. Coal Drops Yard saw the steepest rise, recording a 20% increase in sales. Recent brand openings at the destination include UNIQLO, Joe & The Juice, and Midnight Pantry.
