Plans to pedestrianise London's Oxford Street have been given final approval by the Mayor of London Sir Sadiq Khan. Transport for London (TfL) have now been instructed to implement the proposed changes, which will see the removal of traffic from Oxford Street between Great Portland Street and Orchard Street, City Hall said. It is hoped vehicles will be stop using the road by September, following which further work to make the street more welcoming to pedestrians will commence.

Urban Outfitters is set to join the fashion lineup at Lakeside Shopping Centre in West Thurrock, Essex this summer. Located on the scheme's lower level, the 6,500 sq ft store will offer the fashion retailer's range of menswear, womenswear, accessories and homeware from its proprietary brands. It will also showcase products from labels such as Levi’s, Dickies, and Carhartt WIP. In addition, the store will look to serve as a cultural hub, with a space designed for social connection, curated music and a lifestyle offering.

Atis is set to open its 16th restaurant in London at The Broadway, the 1 million sq ft mixed use development in St James's Park. The fast-growing restaurant operator – founded in 2019 by Eleanor Warder and Phil Honer – will open a 3,600 sq ft space, joining its existing locations in Covent Garden, Notting Hill, Borough Yards, Mayfair, and King's Cross. Atis will join a line-up of retail, food and beverage concepts at The Broadway, including Farmer J, Açaí Berry, Nostos Coffee, and Nobleman Barber.
