MINISO LAND to make UK debut on Oxford Street

MINISO is set to open its first MINISO LAND store in the UK at 363 Oxford Street in London. The global lifestyle brand will create a 19,000 sq ft flagship at the destination, showcasing its IP collaborations and proprietary characters through themed environments and an immersive, “IP theme park-style” shopping experience. The store will join MINISO's network of flagship stores, which includes buildings in New York's Times Square and Paris’s Champs-Élysées, alongside over 8,300 stores globally.

Landsec ups stake in Bluewater

Landsec has completed the acquisition of an additional 10% stake in the Bluewater shopping centre in Kent for £95m. The real estate investment trust said the acquisition price represents a yield of 7.4%, based on the net rental income that the group's existing investment is currently generating. Landsec said that the acquisition increases its ownership interest in Bluewater to 74% and improves the operational flexibility of its overall investment, driving additional efficiency benefits.

LLDC has appointed P-Three and GCW as letting agents at Riverside East, a hospitality and leisure destination within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London. Riverside East comprises approximately 14,000 sq ft of flexible internal space across two floors, as well as around 27,000 sq ft of outdoor space. The ground floor includes a café and bar, a fully fitted kitchen and back-of-house storage facilities, while the first floor features an event space that is complemented by a large kitchen and a roof terrace overlooking Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
