Immersive gaming concept Activate is set to join Harlequin Watford after signing for a 15,592 sq ft unit. The competitive socialising concept is being delivered by We Do Play, the group behind trampoline and indoor park operator Flip Out, which also has a venue at Harlequin Watford. The new venue will look to combine immersive gaming with technology-driven challenges, designed for groups of visitors.

The Entertainer is set to open its largest store in over a decade later this month at The Galleria outlet centre in Hatfield. The 8,000 sq ft space will be the toys and games retailer's first to trade under its new sub-brand "The Entertainer, Toys for Less". It will stock products from brands including Pokémon, One Piece, Toy Story 5, Paw Patrol and Barbie, with the majority selling for 30% less than in the retailer's other stores.

The Watches of Switzerland Group is set to significantly upsize at Harlequin Watford, with a new flagship showroom opening this summer. Combined with the current Goldsmiths retail space, the new showroom increases the Watches of Switzerland Group store at Harlequin to a total of 4,400 sq ft. The new showroom will feature dedicated branded areas for watchmakers such as Rolex, Breitling, and Tudor, alongside a jewellery offering, showcasing Italian brands including Roberto Coin and FOPE.
