Lakeside shopping centre in Essex has welcomed recent investment from a number of jewellery brands. The scheme is set to welcome the arrivals of Browns Jewellers, Ernest Jones, and Diamonds Factory, and has recently seen a reinvestment of £1.2m and an upsize from British jewellers Beaverbrooks. Browns Jewellers has signed for a 469 sq ft space on Level 2, due to open in the coming months. Nearby, Ernest Jones has signed for a 1,310 sq ft space on Level 2, while on Level 1, international luxury jeweller Diamonds Factory has signed to take a 790 sq ft unit.

Vagabond Wines opens fifth venue in under a year at Canary Wharf

Vagabond Wines has opened its fifth new venue since September 2025 at London's Canary Wharf. Spanning 4,000 sq ft, the new location offers over 120 wines, including a selection of English wines produced at Vagabond's nearby Urban Winery in Canada Water. The venue also features a private events space overlooking the water for celebrations and corporate bookings. The opening comes as Vagabond Wines looks to grow its portfolio from 14 locations today to 25 in the next five years.

Jack & Jones to open flagship store at Bluewater

Jack & Jones is set to open a flagship store at Landsec's Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent this October. Spanning 6,370 sq ft, the fashion retailer's new space will be located on Lower Thames Walk and will be the brand's second in the UK to feature its 'One Concept' design. This was first introduced in late 2024 with the launch of the Jack & Jones' store on London’s Oxford Street. Situated next to Stradivarius, the store will offer Jack & Jones’ collections of menswear and childrenswear.
