12 Retail units and shops for rent in Stratford

Continuing the ongoing transformation of Stratford, Sugar House Island comprises some 26 acres of urban regeneration providing 700,000 sq ft of commercial space and 1,200 new homes. Being delivered in phases, there are already approximately 715 residents onsite in 380 completed residential units with a further 244 units (around 500 new residents moving in early 2025). There are already 500 workers amongst the commercial, office and creative space that has been built with likely another 1,000 workers once the Chimney Walk development which will see 220,000 sq ft of offices completed. Already established on the island is a new school 360, East London Dance Studio and Jim & Tonic Bar / Restaurant. When completed the island will be home to a vibrant community where some 6,000 people live, work and unwind.

The scheme will provide a mixture of offices, restaurants, educational, theatre and studio space. This regeneration of the Olympic Press and Broadcast Centre will provide 1.2 Million sq ft of commercial space. The whole development aims to build on the creative hertitage of Hackney Wick, has a focus on the community and innovation and will utilise the excellent digital infrastructure that the site provides.
