Merry Hill has announced nearly 20,000 sq ft of new signings and reinvestments at the West Midlands shopping centre. Leading the new signings is jewellery brand Lovisa, which has signed for a 750 sq ft space. The store is set to open before the festive period and will stock the brand's full range of necklaces, earrings, and rings, while also offering piercing services. Quick-service restaurant operator SushiDog is set to open its first location outside of London at Hammerson's Bullring in Birmingham. Opening in January 2026, the new 500 sq ft restaurant will be located on Bullring's upper level, accommodating up to 25 diners and combining dine-in seating with a takeaway counter. This follows a period of growth for SushiDog, which has developed a following in London with stores in Baker St, Bank, New Oxford St, Bishopsgate, London Bridge, Seven Dials, Soho, Strand, Warren St, and Westfield.

B&Q have opened a new 23,000 sq ft store next to Costa Coffee and B&M, offering a range of home improvement products. It also includes features such as a dedicated timber cutting service, a paint mixing station, and a garden centre with outdoor plants and gardening equipment.
