TJ Hughes has opened its new store at The Mander Centre in Wolverhampton, occupying the space previously let to Wilko. The discount department retailer has signed a 10-year lease for the 19,000 sq ft unit, which opened at the end of November. This marks the return of TJ Hughes to The Mander Centre after almost a decade, following the closure of the retailer's previous store. TJ Hughes at The Mander Centre offers a variety of products across categories such as home goods, electricals, fashion, and beauty.

Footasylum has opened the doors to its upsized store at Merry Hill, tripling its footprint at the Dudley shopping centre. The streetwear retailer has combined its existing unit with an adjacent space to increase its presence from 3,000 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft. The store introduces a number of new features, including a mobile payment system to speed up checkout time, new digital screens, and a refreshed fit-out.

Zara has opened the doors to its upsized, 51,000 sq ft store at Hammerson's Bullring & Grand Central in Birmingham. The new store features the fashion retailer's latest store concept and offers a range of womenswear, menswear, and childrenswear across two floors. The launch comes less than a year after the opening of fellow Inditex brands Bershka and Pull&Bear at Bullring & Grand Central.
