Eurofund Group has completed the acquisition of The Broadway in Bradford from the scheme's joint fixed charge receivers. The centre becomes Eurofund's first-ever wholly-owned investment, with the group also taking over as asset manager. Upon acquisition, Eurofund is planning to invest £10m into an asset enhancement plan as it looks to improve the leasing mix and customer experience. Spanning approximately 570,000 sq ft, The Broadway was originally developed by Westfield and launched in 2015.

The retailer will open a 2,498 sq ft store this summer, offering a range of toys, games, and children's entertainment products. The addition of The Entertainer aligns with Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Leeds’ strategy to strengthen its family-focused offer, while enhancing its appeal as a day-out destination.

Yorkshire's Junction 32 outlet shopping centre has welcomed a number of brand refits and relocations in the first quarter of the year. Brands that have invested in their stores at Junction 32 include Beauty Outlet, which has delivered a major refurbishment of its existing unit. The upgraded, 3,830 sq ft space introduces a modernised retail environment alongside a greater range of products. Meanwhile, clothing brand Weird Fish has refurbished its existing 752 sq ft store, as it looks to create a more contemporary feel and engaging environment, whilst staying true to its coastal style.
