Eurofund Group has completed the acquisition of The Broadway in Bradford from the scheme's joint fixed charge receivers. The centre becomes Eurofund's first-ever wholly-owned investment, with the group also taking over as asset manager. Upon acquisition, Eurofund is planning to invest £10m into an asset enhancement plan as it looks to improve the leasing mix and customer experience. Spanning approximately 570,000 sq ft, The Broadway was originally developed by Westfield and launched in 2015.

Kingsgate Shopping Centre in Huddersfield was recently acquired by Northdale Advisors for approximately £32m. The 280,000 sq ft scheme was sold by WD Ltd at the end of last year after 23 years of ownership. But what's next for Kingsgate Shopping Centre under its new ownership? The Broadway shopping centre in Bradford is set to change hands in a deal worth over £70m. CoStar News has reported that real estate investment and development company Eurofund has agreed to acquire the scheme. The shopping centre was brought to the investment market last year by Savills, acting on behalf of receivers, with an asking price of £74.23m, reflecting a net initial yield of 9.5%.
