Australian womenswear retailer Kookaï is to make it's UK debut, opening its first permanent location in the country on London's Carnaby Street. Spanning 1,800 sq ft, Kookaï's new space at 37 Carnaby Street will feature its latest store concept and offer a range of womenswear designed at the brand's Melbourne studio. The opening will build on the brand's success across Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, which has seen it grow to over 57 boutiques in recent years.

French luxury fragrance house MATIERE PREMIERE has opened its first store in the UK at 31 King Street in Shaftesbury Capital's Covent Garden estate in London. Spanning 708 sq ft, the new store showcases the brand's full portfolio of scents, each of which are centred around a single, natural raw material. MATIERE PREMIERE joins a number of fragrance and beauty brands within the Covent Garden neighbourhood, including Byredo, Creed, Chanel, Diptyue, Dolce&Gabbana, Le Labo, Penhaligon's, and Tom Ford.

Harlequin Watford recorded its highest-ever footfall in 2025, the first year during which the scheme completed a brand refresh that saw the return of its former name. The shopping centre delivered a year-on-year increase in footfall 12 months, setting a new all-time high for the centre with a total figure of 17.2 million visitors for the year. Harlequin Watford also recorded growth ahead of the wider market.
