Lakeside has welcomed the arrival of four national fashion retailers, with Bershka, Hollister, Oliver Bonas, and Urban Outfitters all opening at the Essex shopping centre. Bershka has opened on the scheme's second level, bringing its range of womenswear, menswear, and accessories to a 12,500 sq ft space. LondonMetric Property has sold a Lidl supermarket with an unexpired lease term of 17 years in Basildon, Essex, for £8.8m. The transaction was completed as part of a wider sell-off by LondonMetric, which saw it dispose of seven assets for a total of £85m, reflecting a net initial yield of 5.3%. Also included in the sales were two Ramsay hospitals for £59.1m, two logistics warehouses for £13m, and two Travelodge hotels for £4.

Lakeside shopping centre in Essex has welcomed a duo of beauty retailers to the centre with the arrivals of PURESEOUL and Space NK. Korean beauty retailer PURESEOUL has made its regional debut at the scheme, opening a 1,919 sq ft store on Lakeside's first level. The new store offers over 30 beauty brands including Torriden, AMUSE, TIRTIR, Beauty by Joseon, and Medicube. The store also features a dedicated workshop space.
