Retro clothing retailer 80s Casual Classics is set to open its first store in the South at The Liberty Romford in London. Spanning 2,340 sq ft, the store will he the brand's fifth in the UK and offer a range of 70s, 80s, and 90s-inspired apparel from vintage brands. The retailer – which has supplied wardrobe to several films and TV series including This is England, The Firm, Marching Powder, and The Business – will also stock custom-made exclusives from third party brands.

Popeyes is set to join the food and beverage line-up at Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex. The American fried chicken restaurant has taken a 1,750 sq ft restaurant on level three of the shopping centre, located in The Eatery. Opening next week, the operator will join existing restaurants at Lakeside including Five Guys and Taco Bell. This latest arrival continues a period of renewed expansion for Popeyes, and marks the brand's 80th opening in the UK.

The Liberty Romford in East London has welcomed reinvestment and refits from four high street brands. These are led by jewellery retailer Pandora, which is currently refitting its 1,582 sq ft store on Liberty Square with its latest concept. The updated layout introduces includes a central island feature, expanded shop floor, and engraving services. Also reinvesting in the scheme is The Perfume Shop, which is set to upgrade its 1,157 sq ft store on the scheme's East Mall in May.
