Montreal-born fashion and lifestyle brand GARAGE is set to continue its UK expansion with the opening of a new store at Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex. The brand – which made its UK debut on Oxford Street earlier this year – has secured a 4,221 sq ft space on the scheme's upper level. GARAGE will offer a range of apparel and accessories to a catchment of 8.5 million people, and looks to draw inspiration from the energy and styles of New York and Los Angeles.

Lakeside shopping centre in Essex has unveiled a newly-repositioned Brompton Arcade, formerly Brompton Walk, a hub for independent businesses and local entrepreneurs. Located on Level 2 of the scheme, Brompton Arcade's aim is to is to curate and support ambitious, independent, and experience-led brands, providing them with greater visibility, operational support and access to Lakeside’s 17 million annual visitors.

Oliver Bonas has signed for a new store at Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex, and will open this summer at the scheme. The British lifestyle retailer has secured a 4,000 sq ft unit in Lakeside's Lower Mall, adjacent to Office. The brand – which operates over 90 stores in the UK and Ireland – will offer a range of design-led collections of women's clothing, accessories, gifts, jewellery and homeware.
