Guinness World Records will open its first permanent entertainment venue in the UK at The O2 in London. Set to open in late 2026, the 25,000 sq ft venue will look to combine competitive socialising with record breaking feats, with visitors able to attempt over 50 official Guinness World Record titles across six challenge areas. In addition, the venue will offer themed food and drink alongside souvenirs.

Japanese dining brand Maki & Ramen is set to join the food and beverage lineup at Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex. Arriving in early 2026, the restaurant will feature a full sushi bar and a curated menu of Japanese dishes and cocktails. It will also offer both sit-down dining and grab-and-go convenience options. Maki & Ramen joins a roster of brands at Lakeside Shopping Centre that includes new additions such as NEXT, Reiss, Toni & Guy, JD Sports, and Charles Tyrwhitt, all of which opened this year.

The White Company is set to open its second store in Essex at Lakeside Shopping Centre in West Thurrock. Opening in spring 2026, the 5,000 sq ft store will offer products across clothing, home, fragrance, bedding, and the Little White Company children's range. The store will be one of four new openings in spring for the brand across the UK. The White Company joins a number of premium brands at Lakeside, including H Beauty, Reiss, Charles Tyrwhitt, and Chisholm Hunter.
