Spanning 202,000 sq ft, the asset comprises 34 units let to a mixture of fashion, food, and essential service retailers. It is also supplemented by a 400-space car park. Tenants at Vicar Lane include JD Sports, H&M, Superdrug, Iceland, River Island, and The Works. The scheme also includes civic space at St James' Square, which features a 12 metre LED screen, and is adjacent to several regeneration projects such as the Chesterfield Waterside scheme and the future HS2 station.

Chopstix has continued to expand via its franchise partnership with motorway service operator (MSA) Welcome Break to open a new restaurant in South Yorkshire. The pan-Asian restaurant brand has opened at Welcome Break Woodall Southbound Services on the M1, across from an existing Chopstix unit at the Northbound services, meaning the operator now serves both sides of the M1. The restaurant, near Sheffield, is Chopstix's 17th site in partnership with the franchisee and the fourth to open over the past six months, with a further two sites in the pipeline.

Devonshire Property Group has appointed FHP Property Consultants to support on lettings and lease renewals at Peak Village retail centre in Rowsley. Located in the Peak District, the centre has welcomed premium clothing and footwear retailer Henmores, independent business Baxter & Co, and artists and makers collective The Derbyshire Makers over the past eight months. It also generated a turnover of £8m in its 2023-24 financial year, an increase of more than £4m over the course of three years.
