Tenants at Vicar Lane include JD Sports, H&M, Superdrug, Iceland, River Island, and The Works. Commercial property and investment company LCP, part of M Core, has welcomed Specsavers to M Park Farm shopping centre in Allestree, Derby. The national optician brand opened in a 2,526 sq ft unit after signing a 10-year lease. Specsavers joins other major retail brands at M Park Farm including Boots, Co-op, Farmfoods, and Wilko. Simon Eatough, director and asset manager at LCP, said: “M Park Farm is a well-established shopping centre in Derby suburb, Allestree, comprised over 50 stores ranging from small independent retailers and salons to major national retailers and food outlets.

Devonshire Property Group has appointed FHP Property Consultants to support on lettings and lease renewals at Peak Village retail centre in Rowsley. Located in the Peak District, the centre has welcomed premium clothing and footwear retailer Henmores, independent business Baxter & Co, and artists and makers collective The Derbyshire Makers over the past eight months. It also generated a turnover of £8m in its 2023-24 financial year, an increase of more than £4m over the course of three years.
