ARNE picks Bluewater for six-month pop-up

ARNE is has opened its first regional store in the South East of England at Landsec's Bluewater shopping centre in Kent. The opening of the 2,800 sq ft pop-up follows ARNE's two-week pop-up on Carnaby Street last year, as the Liverpool-born brand looks to expand its physical retail presence. Located on Bluewater's Lower Guildhall, the store offers a range of ARNE's menswear, womenswear, and footwear collections.

Landsec ups stake in Bluewater

Landsec has completed the acquisition of an additional 10% stake in the Bluewater shopping centre in Kent for £95m. The real estate investment trust said the acquisition price represents a yield of 7.4%, based on the net rental income that the group's existing investment is currently generating. Landsec said that the acquisition increases its ownership interest in Bluewater to 74% and improves the operational flexibility of its overall investment, driving additional efficiency benefits.

Savers to open at Chatham Maritime's Dockside

Savers is set to open at Dockside at Chatham Maritime after agreeing a 10-year lease for a 4,500 sq ft space. The health and beauty retailer will move into a newly created space after scheme owner WD Ltd reconfigured two units in order to accommodate Savers' requirements. The signing continues WD Ltd’s ongoing evolution of Dockside into a mixed-use destination, which has included the transformation of the entrance area which involved lettings to Sotto Lounge, McDonalds, Bakers + Baristas, and YouMeSushi.
