Pair of F&B brands to join Bristol's Gloucester Road

Savills has advised two food and beverage franchise operators on the acquisition of a pair of adjoining retail units on Bristol's Gloucester Road. Franchise operators Fatima Café and Chocoberry Bristol have each agreed 15-year leases, taking a combined circa 2,500 sq ft of space. Fatima Café, which will trade as Chaiiwala, is set to occupy 171 Gloucester Road while Chocoberry Bristol, trading as Chocoberry, will take the neighbouring unit at 173 Gloucester Road.

Loungers to open restaurant at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway

Loungers is set to open a new restaurant this week at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol. The operator's new venue, named Picaro Lounge, will occupy the former Pizza Hut unit in the scheme's food court, and will offer a menu that includes brunch, tapas, toasties and salads to burgers, tacos, noodles, and fried chicken. The unit has been transformed by the Loungers design team, now featuring patterned wallpapers, murals, colourful tiling, stripped wooden floors, vintage sofas, and upholstered lounge chairs.

Next to upsize Cribbs Mall store

Next is set to upsize and refit its store at Cribbs Mall in Bristol, opening a larger, 47,000 sq ft space. The new store will enable the retailer to offer a larger range of clothing and accessories. Next has also confirmed that it will be bringing its Bath and Body Works concept to the store, with Cribbs being the home of its first standalone store in the region after agreeing to lease a 1,797 sq ft unit.
