The Shires Gateway is a new retail development in the centre of Trowbridge. The development responds to an identified need for additional retailing in Trowbridge, recognised deficiencies in the town centre's provision and the high level of retailer demand, as well as the physical and locational suitability of the site to accommodate retail uses. Already trading from the development are Next, New Look, Boots, Argos and Brantano with Asda and the Shires Shopping Centre located directly opposite.
