Shaftesbury Capital has welcomed a trio of food and beverage operators to its Chinatown London estate. Chinese tea brand HYTEA will open at 118-120 Shaftesbury Avenue this summer, taking a 2,600 sq ft unit. It will serve a range of fruit and milk teas, as well as matcha. The addition of HEYTEA will extend the destination’s collection of modern tea concepts – including the likes of Happy Lemon, Tsujiri, and Woo Tea.

The Salad Project is set to make its debut within a travel retail location after signing for a new restaurant at London Bridge Station. Located on Tooley Street, the 1,410 sq ft unit will sit adjacent to Wasabi and Starbucks and offer the brand's full range of customisable salads and bowls. It will also feature 14 dine-in seats. Since launching its first location in Spitalfields in 2021, The Salad Project has grown to open 15 stores across London.

Immersive gaming concept Activate is set to join Harlequin Watford after signing for a 15,592 sq ft unit. The competitive socialising concept is being delivered by We Do Play, the group behind trampoline and indoor park operator Flip Out, which also has a venue at Harlequin Watford. The new venue will look to combine immersive gaming with technology-driven challenges, designed for groups of visitors.
