Zara has opened the doors to its upsized, 51,000 sq ft store at Hammerson's Bullring & Grand Central in Birmingham. The new store features the fashion retailer's latest store concept and offers a range of womenswear, menswear, and childrenswear across two floors. The launch comes less than a year after the opening of fellow Inditex brands Bershka and Pull&Bear at Bullring & Grand Central.

Sephora has opened its sixth store in the UK and its first in the West Midlands at Hammerson's Bullring & Grand Central in Birmingham. The 4,925 sq ft store – which welcomes over 2,000 customers on the opening weekend – offers a range of products across across makeup, travel, fragrance, skincare, haircare, grooming, and wellness. The cosmetics retailer made its bricks-and-mortar debut in March 2023 at Westfield London, and has since opened stores at Westfield Stratford, Manchester's Trafford Centre, Eldon Square in Newcastle, and Metrocentre in Gateshead.

Plans to create a new leisure hub at the Mander Centre in Wolverhampton have been given the go-ahead by councillors. Submitted by real estate and investment manager Catella APAM, the proposals outline the creation of a new mixed-use concept venue from entertainment and leisure operator Superbowl UK. This will open in early 2025 and include 12 bowling lanes, a soft play area, interactive darts, a bar and diner, and a SEGA Prize Zone Arcade.
