Running for two weeks in July, the pop-up looks to leverage the popularity of the fast-growing sport to drive longer dwell times and repeat visits. The opening forms the latest milestone in the footwear and sportswear retailer's UK retail expansion plans, following recent openings in Manchester Arndale, Trinity Leeds, and Merthyr Tydfil. Spanning 17,178 sq ft, the store will offer a range of products from brands such as Nike, Adidas Originals, ASICS, Saucony, and Berghaus, alongside Footasylum-exclusive labels including Monterrain and Forena.

Manchester's Trafford Centre is celebrating a strong growth in 2026, supported by new commitments from fashion brands at the scheme. The centre has welcomed a number of new openings and upsizes in the year-to-date from brands such as Garage, Stradivarius, Lululemon, and UNIQLO. Fashion has been a standout category at Trafford Centre, contributing to 65% of total sales growth in Q1 alone. Fashion category sales have also increased by 27.
