Amsterdam-founded menswear retailer Suitsupply is set to open a new store at Manchester's Trafford Centre next year. Spanning 5,000 sq ft, the new store will showcase the brand's full range of tailoring and casualwear, including suits, jackets, outerwear, shoes, and accessories, while also offering alterations from in-house tailors. Founded in 2000, Suitsupply has since grown to operate over 150 stores globally.

The Entertainer is set to open a store at Manchester's Trafford Centre in September. The toy and gifts retailer's new space will offer products from some of the world's biggest manufacturers, including LEGO, Mattel, Hasbro, and Zuru, as well as popular toys from trending brands such as Squishies, Needoh, and KPop Demon Hunters. The Entertainer's arrival at The Trafford Centre marks the retailer's eight opening in the past 12 months, with its most recent being the new "Toys for Less" outlet stores at The Galleria in Hatfield and Frasers Plus Designer Outlet in Leeds, as well as the re-opening of an expanded and refurbished store at Churchill Square in Brighton.

Lululemon has launched a pop-up padel court at Manchester's Trafford Centre to coincide with the opening of its upsized store at the centre. Running for two weeks in July, the pop-up looks to leverage the popularity of the fast-growing sport to drive longer dwell times and repeat visits. Outside of London, Manchester is one of the UK’s strongest athleisure markets and Greater Manchester is one of the country's fastest-growing padel markets.
