The Grade I-listed Royal Exchange in the City of London has been placed on the investment market with a reported asking price of £70m, reflecting a net initial yield of 6%. The asset – which is situated opposite Bank Station – is being marketed by Savills and Knight Frank. Chinatown London welcomes trio of F&B brands

Shaftesbury Capital has welcomed a trio of food and beverage operators to its Chinatown London estate. Chinese tea brand HEYTEA will open at 118-120 Shaftesbury Avenue this summer, taking a 2,600 sq ft unit. It will serve a range of fruit and milk teas, as well as matcha. The addition of HEYTEA will extend the destination’s collection of modern tea concepts – including the likes of Happy Lemon, Tsujiri, and Woo Tea.

Lakeside secures six new F&B tenants as Vue recommits

Lakeside shopping centre in Essex has completed six new food and beverage signings, including one UK debut, as longstanding leisure anchor Vue recommits to the scheme. Leading the new additions is GAIL's, which has committed to a 2,033 sq ft unit on the lower level. The bakery and coffee shop joins other recent additions to Lakeside including The White Company. Black Sheep Coffee has also signed at Lakeside, and will open in a 1,500 sq ft store on the scheme's lower level this summer.
