LondonMetric Property has sold a retail park in Coventry as part of several non-core disposals worth £74.2m. Airport Retail Park has been sold for £37.3m to NFU Mutual, reflecting a core net initial yield of 5.5%. The 138,000 sq ft asset is let to 13 occupiers including Currys, Aldi, B&M, and Dunelm and has a weighted average unexpired lease term of six years. The retail park – which produces an average rent of £17.

Commercial property developer Stoford has let a unit in Leamington Spa to DIY and trade retailer Wickes on a fifteen-year lease. The 38,650 sq ft unit – which is located at Spa Park near the M40 – is a net zero carbon building with BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings. It is one of nine new environmentally sustainable assets that have been developed by Stoford. Combined, the units deliver around 500,000 sq ft of new office, research and development, production, and distribution space.

The group behind the Roxy Lanes, Roxy Ball Room, and King Pins brands has chosen Coventry to open the first venue for its new bowling concept. Professionals At Play, which recently rebranded from Roxy Leisure Holdings, will debut the Star Pins concept at West Orchards Shopping Centre in December. Spanning 32,000 sq ft, the venue will host a variety of games, including ten-pin Bowling, mini golf, darts, shuffleboard, ice-free curling, American pool, shooting pod, ping pong, and arcade games.
