Footasylum is set to reopen its upgraded Trafford Centre store in Greater Manchester. Manchester's Trafford Centre is celebrating a strong growth in 2026, supported by new commitments from fashion brands at the scheme. The centre has welcomed a number of new openings and upsizes in the year-to-date from brands such as Garage, Stradivarius, Lululemon, and UNIQLO. Fashion has been a standout category at Trafford Centre, contributing to 65% of total sales growth in Q1 alone. Fashion category sales have also increased by 27.

Royton Square shopping centre in Greater Manchester is now fully let following scheme owner M Core's signing of an independent Indian restaurant operator. The operator has taken a 1,207 sq ft unit on a 10-year lease, bringing the 52,703 sq ft scheme to full occupancy across 34 retail units. Royton Square is located in the centre of Royton, a suburb of Oldham situated approximately eight miles northeast of Manchester.
