Italian restaurant brand, Padella, is set to make its debut in London's West End within Shaftesbury Capital's Soho portfolio. Opening at 2 Kingly Street, the 2,300 sq ft location will cater to 80 covers, offering a menu of eight seasonal pasta dishes. The signing comes amid a flurry of new F&B signings within the area, including Detroit-style pizza restaurant Ria’s, that recently opened at 29 Foubert’s Place.

Shaftesbury Capital has secured two new F&B concepts to its Chinatown London estate, with Sushinoya and Ning’s Fresh Beef Hotpot taking space at 62 Shaftesbury Avenue and 18 Rupert Street, respectively. Sushinoya has already opened its doors, having taken a 3,600 sq ft space with 65 covers. The sushi brand has taken a key gateway unit into Chinatown London, at the corner of Shaftesbury Avenue and Wardour Street, opposite Kung Fu Noodle.
