US fashion brand Edikted has opened its first standalone store in Europe at 52-55 Carnaby Street within Shaftesbury Capital's London portfolio. Spanning 4,800 sq ft, Edikted's first bricks-and-mortar store outside of the United States offers a range of street-style and runway-inspired womenswear and accessories. The store is positioned nearby to TALA, another brand that has selected Soho as the location to debut a physical concept.

Redical, the owner and operator at The Liberty Romford, has signed menswear retailer Suit Direct for a new store at the scheme. Taking a 3,790 sq ft space, the store will stock a range of men’s suits, accessories, and exclusive Ted Baker casualwear, alongside brands such as Marc Darcy and Antique Rogue. Suit Direct will also host free one-to-one styling appointments, offering advice for customers preparing for occasions such as weddings, proms, and the races.

Landsec has placed a landmark island site at London's Piccadilly Circus on the investment market with a guide price of £450m. The one acre site, known as Lucent, opened in 2023 and comprises 188,000 sq ft of mixed-use space. The retail element spans 58,000 sq ft and comprises four units on Regent Street and Shaftesbury Avenue, let to tenants including Boots and Lindt. The sale would include the freehold that underpins Piccadilly Lights – the largest advertising screen in Western Europe – with Landsec continuing to operate the digital infrastructure on a new 250-year leasehold and retaining 95% of its net operating income.
