Trafford Centre in Manchester has secured a major leasing deal with the Inditex fashion group, which will see the relocation of the existing Zara and Pull&Bear stores as well as the arrival of Bershka. All three of the stores are due to open at the end of the summer and will occupy separate flagship stores on Peel Avenue. The expansions of Zara and Pull&Bear alongside the arrival of Bershka – which joins Trafford Centre for the first time – will look to provide a better shopping experience through larger improved stores and the introduction of a new brand.

The Trafford Centre in Manchester has unveiled a new dining destination, called Eastern Garden, designed to champion Mancunian talent. The new area – previously referred to as Chinatown – is designed to reflect a blend of traditional and contemporary Asian aesthetics. Eastern Garden features a line-up of independent operators including: Nichi, a 3,000 sq ft Japanese concept which opened in late 2024 Hello Oriental, a Mancunian street food hall which opened its first Manchester restaurant off Oxford Road Chit 'n' Chaat, an 2,000 sq ft Indian street food concept which opened its fifth restaurant in the Greater Manchester region at Trafford Centre Blanchflower Coffee and Bakery, which will offer bread, cakes, and pastries when it opens in the coming weeks.

Flying Tiger Copenhagen is set to open a new store at the Trafford Centre in Manchester. The variety retailer has taken a 1,500 sq ft store on the scheme's Upper Peel Avenue for its 81st location in the UK. The store will open its doors on February 14th – Valentine's Day, and will become the brand's first opening of 2025. Flying Tiger at the Trafford Centre will feature the brand's core range alongside its seasonal love-themed products in celebration of Valentine's Day.
