Metrocentre completes refurbishment of independent retail hub

Metrocentre in Gateshead has completed the refurbishment of The Crescent, an 11-unit retail hub designed for local and independent businesses to trial retailing within the scheme. Units within The Crescent have been refurbished, 60% of which are currently under offer. Tenants within The Crescent will be able to join a retail lineup at Metrocentre that includes retail giants such as Zara, Hollister, and Sephora, as well as Bershka and Lefties which are set to join the scheme later this year.

Eldon Square sees spring boost in sales and footfall

Eldon Square shopping centre in Newcastle has recorded a boost in sales and footfall over the spring period. In April, the scheme saw a year-on-year increase in sales of 4.5% (+1.5% like-for-like), outperforming the national average, which recorded a decline of 4.0% during the same period, according to the British Retail Consortium. Meanwhile during Eldon Square's Spring Summer Fashion campaign period, which lasted between 1st April and 17th May, footfall at the scheme was up by 6.

TFG London to bring trio of womenswear brands to Dalton Park

Dalton Park in County Durham is set to welcome TFG London this June, which will bring three womenswear brands, Hobbs, Phase Eight, and Whistles, to the outlet shopping destination. The 3,337 sq ft multi-brand store will open ahead of the summer period, offering womenswear and occasionwear at a key time for seasonal demand, as shoppers prepare for summer events, weddings, race days, and other occasions.
