Goldsmiths has significantly upsized its store at Merry Hill, with the jeweller more than doubling its presence at the Dudley scheme. The retailer has moved from its existing 2,700 sq ft space into a 6,000 sq ft unit opposite the soon-to-open M&S, having merged together two existing units. The upsize features a larger dedicated Rolex room, alongside branded areas from Omega, TAG Heuer, Tudor, Longines, and Tissot.

A major UK shopping centre in the West Midlands has been placed on the investment market with a price tag of £250m, reflecting a net initial yield of 9%. The owners of Merry Hill shopping centre in Dudley have announced that the 1.4 million sq ft scheme has been put up for sale, with Knight Frank appointed to find a suitable buyer. The scheme – which is over 96% let – has undergone a number of changes to its tenant mix in recent months, introducing new leisure concepts such as Hollywood Bowl and Funstation, and welcoming national debuts for Harvey Norman and XF Gym.

M Core has unveiled has unveiled its repositioning of The Arcadian, an oriental dining and entertainment destination in Birmingham. Through a programme of asset and property management led by LCP UK, part of M Core, new operators have been brought in, including: Arcadian Food Court, a 2,396 sq ft, 100-seat venue that offers ten Asian street food vendors. Chinese Arcade, a 4,200 sq ft space with a futurist design with food entertainment.
