Breitling has opened its upsized store at St James Quarter, more than doubling its presence at the Edinburgh shopping destination. The Swiss watchmaker's new store spans circa 1,000 sq ft, and showcases a wider range of timepieces. Located on the Quarter's mid-level, it also introduces new features, such as a bar and pool table. Breitling rejoins St James Quarter's existing range of jewellery brands, which includes fellow Watches of Switzerland brand Goldsmiths.

St James Quarter in Edinburgh has welcomed a raft of investment from three food and beverage operators. Itsu has reopened at the shopping destination, now operating as a company-run restaurant, the site having previously been a franchisee. Trading from a 2,000 sq ft space, Itsu will offer sushi, rice, and noodle bowls, as well as a range of Asian salads and snacks. Meanwhile, Black Sheep Coffee has signed for a second location at St James Quarter.

Royal London Asset Management has completed the sale of a retail park in Dunfermline, Scotland, for a total consideration of approximately £23m. Halbeath Retail Park spans approximately 125,903 sq ft and is let to retailers including Wickes, B&M, Tapi Carpets, Currys, Halfords, and Pets at Home. Located approximately 12 miles north west of Edinburgh city centre, the scheme is situated close to Junction 3 of the M90 and is accessed off Halbeath Road – the main arterial route to the east of Dunfermline that links the M90 with Dunfermline town centre.
