Two neighbouring retail properties on Leamington Spa's Regency Parade in the West Midlands have been acquired by a family owned business for a combined £1.68m. The Dougall Group, which focuses on convenience retail, has acquired 38 and 40 Parade in a deal supported by Bond Wolfe. Number 38 extends to 3,497 sq ft and is let to Danish variety store chain Flying Tiger Copenhagen, producing a passing rent of £75,000 a year.

Moss is set to relocate its Solihull store, taking on a larger unit at the Touchwood shopping centre. The menswear retailer has taken a 3,171 sq ft unit at the scheme, fronting onto Solihull High Street, on a new 15-year lease. Moss will join a number of major brands at Touchwood Solihull, including Apple – which tripled its presence at the scheme last year – as well as John Lewis, Zara, Mango, Rituals, Miele, Oliver Bonas, Space NK, and the recently-opened Sweaty Betty.

Touchwood Solihull in the West Midlands recorded strong trading performance in 2025, with the scheme seeing a rise in footfall and leasing activity and the shopping centre operating at near full occupancy. Over the course of 2025, footfall at Touchwood rose to 11.2m visitors, with particularly strong performance in the final quarter which saw a year-on-year increase of 2.3%. In December, footfall rose by 2.
