Greenridge Investment Management has completed the sale of a Waitrose and John Lewis store at Futura Park in Ipswich for £28.6m, reflecting a net initial yield of 7.1%. The property comprises purpose-built retail warehouse, extending to approximately 71,000 sq ft with 409 car parking spaces . It is let in its entirety to the John Lewis Partnership on a long lease with fixed rental uplifts. Greenridge Investment Management originally purchased the asset in May 2024 for £21.

Gateway Retail Park in Harwich, Essex, is now fully let following the addition of PureGym. The gym operator has secured Unit 3, which spans 7,001 sq ft, on a 15-year lease. PureGym will join a line-up of retailers at the scheme including Argos, B&M, and Peacocks. Spanning 55,082 sq ft, Gateway Retail Park is located adjacent to the St Nicholas Roundabout on the A120 Dovercourt Bypass, approximately one mile west of Harwich Town Centre.

Marks & Spencer has unveiled plans to develop a 60,000 sq ft store at Copdock Interchange in Ipswich, Suffolk. The new store – which is yet to be granted planning approval by Ipswich Borough Council – would offer customers products from M&S's clothing, food, and beauty ranges, alongside an 80-seat café. If approved, the store will join the retailer's existing locations in Ipswich at Westgate Street, Martlesham Heath Retail Park, and its convenience store at Ipswich Hospital.
