Ryemarket Shopping Centre is the main shopping area serving the town and comprises 180,000 sq ft of covered retail accommodation arranged over one level, comprising 34 retail units and a multi storey car park with a capacity of 340 vehicles. The centre is anchored by Waitrose, WH Smith and Home Bargains. Other notable retailers include, Dorothy Perkins, Boots, Iceland, Peacocks, Pump Gyms, The Works and Holland & Barrett. Ryemarket Shopping Centre is improving along with the regeneration of Stourbridge town centre, with a new logo and new signage. The centre is also investing in the refurbishment of selected retail units to make them ready for new stores to occupy with minimum work required from the retailer.

The Crown Centre in Stourbridge was a £50 Million development in the heart of the town, built during 2012/2013. The flagship store being the Tesco Extra, with substantial car parking underneath.
