Artium has launched its commercial development pipeline after breaking ground on a £4m retail scheme in Brough, East Yorkshire. This comes as the group relocates its office from Harrogate to Leeds as it looks to strengthen its foothold across Yorkshire and the wider North of England. Construction is now underway at the site on Bluebird Way, which will see the creation of a a Starbucks drive-through and five retail units.

Chopstix has opened a new restaurant in Hull, making its debut in the Yorkshire city. Located on the corner of King Edward Street and Jameson Street in the city centre, the store launches with the quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand’s refreshed visual identity and enhanced operational features. This follows a flurry of openings for the brand in recent months, including in Brighton, Wolverhampton, and most recently, Huddersfield.

M Core has completed the acquisition of Kennedy Way in Immingham, North Lincolnshire, a 46,001 sq ft community retail centre comprising 20 units. The property collective said the purchase strengthens its commitment to revitalising essential local shopping destinations across the UK. The retail parade is anchored by Tesco, B&M, and Home Bargains and benefits from a dedicated car park. At the point of acquisition, five retail units were vacant, with offers received on three and discussions ongoing with a number of parties on the remaining units.
