Evolve Estates acquires mixed-use waterfront scheme in Poole

Evolve Estates, part of M Core, has acquired the Dolphin Quays waterside development in Poole, Dorset. Located on Poole's harbour, the mixed-use scheme comprises 71,594 sq ft of retail, restaurant, and office accommodation. The development is currently let to 14 tenants, including Lush, Pavers, and Rosso's, and is supplemented by 104 luxury apartments arranged across the upper levels. Cited Property, which acted for Evolve Estates, said Dolphin Quays is the "perfect addition" to Evolve Estate's portfolio, due to "its prime waterfront location, strong mix of convenience and leisure tenants and an array of exciting value-add initiatives to explore.

NFU Mutual acquires Dorset retail park for over £30m

NFU Mutual has acquired a retail park in Christchurch, Dorset from Orchard Street Investment Management for over £30m. Christchurch Retail Park spans 106,000 sq ft and is let to tenants including Homebase, Halfords, and Pets At Home. The asset is located just west of Christchurch railway station on the A35 – the main road linking Christchurch, Southampton, and Bournemouth. Park Place Retail advised NFU Mutual, whilst Savills advised the vendor Orchard Street Investment Management.

Legal & General acquires Poole Tesco from Abrdn for £46.1m
3 May 2024
A fund managed by Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) has acquired a Tesco supermarket in Poole from clients of Abrdn for £46.1m. The 95,000 sq ft store is located at the heart of the Poole-Bournemouth conurbation, and is supplemented by a 16-pump petrol station and a 599-space car park. In addition, 19 delivery vans operate from the store as well as a substantial click-and-collect facility.
